My passion is software development!
For more than 20 years I have been building robust, scalable and maintainable software solutions with modern Java technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate and the like.
#About me
For more than 20 years I have been building robust, scalable and maintainable software solutions with modern Java technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate and the like.
I am particularly fascinated by system integration and by the question of how Java architectures can stay understandable and extensible even after many years.
Clean code quality, sustainable software architecture and good teamwork matter most to me.
I am convinced: good software is not created by code alone – but through communication, understanding and reliability.
Clean code quality
Readable, testable code following clean code principles.
Sustainable architecture
Scalable, maintainable Java architectures that grow with the business.
System integration
Connecting middleware, REST interfaces and legacy systems cleanly.
Teamwork
Communication, understanding and reliability within the team.
#My favourites
In my daily work as a Java developer I rely on a lean, efficient toolchain.
I prefer working on macOS, with IntelliJ IDEA as my main IDE for Java and Spring Boot projects. For terminal work I use Oh My ZSH, combined with Vim and tmux – ideal for fast, focused work right in the shell.
This combination gives me a productive and flexible development environment that works reliably both locally and on remote systems.

#Favourite authors
My favourite authors include Robert C. Martin, Kent Beck and Martin Fowler – people who have shaped modern software development for good. Their books and principles on clean code, agile development and software architecture have decisively influenced how I think about quality, testability and good engineering practice.
